"Quarantine Sessions is his first full-length album, and it does a magnificent job of introducing the listener to the whole scufflin' experience." - J. Jared
synopsis:
You may be wondering what that radio station hidden between the static is, the one that you hear when switching between stations but can never quite make it out? You keep tuning the knob back and forth to maybe hit that perfect frequency, but no matter how many times you twist it, nothing comes through clearly. Quarantine Sessions is that station. Q-RNT, Quarantine Sessions Radio; playing songs curated by Scufflemoss for your enjoyment, from Hip Hop to Rock, Electronic rhythms and Dungeon drones, Ageless Classics and new favorites; there’s a bit of something for everyone.
Quarantine Sessions began in 2018 with the first Wüden Boi performance for Notaroo 2 at The Crying Wolf. It was Scufflemöss’s first performance as a musician, armed with just a cajon, shaker, and songs he wrote so that he could participate in the Sad Spaceman event. The first song The Summoning: Anq’Coraj Rising, opens the album the same way that Scufflemöss did in 2018, and the theme continues on throughout the album with The Summoning: Aura Dread, and Moon Möss; which were all part of that first performance.
Jeezuz Peezuz, Snowflakes Still Fall, Wishing Well, Hi Ho Silver, and Tundra Walking all continue to tell the tale that is Wüden Boi and the constant search for the land of “Bun und Honey”.
She Runs with The Moon featuring Rodney Noffsinger of Sons of Our Fathers, tells the tragic story of a cursed love and lengths one man goes to be with the woman he loves.
Bee Bop(Hip Hop for Bees) is self explanatory, it is music for Bees, humans don’t need to listen to it as all the lyrics are in Bee buzzing.
So, the next time that you’re searching the airwaves for something to listen to, you’ll find the songs between the static on Q-RNT, Quarantine Sessions Radio.

Reviews:
"Tomorrow marks the highly-anticipated release of Quarantine Sessions by Wüden Boi, the music project of my friend, the forest troll, artist, storyteller, bon vivant and man-about-town, Scufflemöss Treemen. If you don't know Scufflemöss, you've been missing out; for the past several years he's been creating, supporting the scene and crafting an epic saga of his life as a troll who's come to live among humans. Quarantine Sessions is his first full-length album, and it does a magnificent job of introducing the listener to the whole scufflin' experience. I had the privilege of having the album sent to me in advance, and I also got to enjoy a listening party a couple of weeks ago at Jack's Guitarcheology. This music is wild and untamed and fully without boundaries; within the space of a few songs, Scuffles will move you from metal to hip-hop to pop to dance music and everywhere in between, as he expresses his support for bees, his quest for love and belonging, and above all, his undying passion for BUN. There's a palpable sense of sweetness and positivity to Scufflemöss' persona and artistic sensibilities and it's a pleasure to hang out in his world for a while. I'm looking forward to the album release show on Saturday at Springwater. Check out Quarantine Sessions, dig Wüden Boi, and always KEEP ON SCUFFLIN!"

"If you're looking for Run Of The Mill, Typical, Derivative music to zone out to then you're outta luck. Put on your booties, we're goin' Tundra Walking.
This album mixes multiple different genres from song to song at times, always keeping you wondering what will happen next, and once you become a seasoned listener the transitions between tracks feels more like a fever dream. Maybe you're in the mood for some Hip Hop that Bees would enjoy, or maybe some Rap akin to RUN DMC having a Children's Show. Maybe you're in the mood for a Stoner Rock Dirge or just want to enter the atmosphere of Wuden Boi's world with the instrumental interludes which barely give you a moment to absorb what you just heard before flinging you into another shift.
The approach here is as much Human as it is Forest Troll with a sprinkling of BUN Logic to top it off. Jeezuz Peezus, Snowflakes Still Fall, and Hi Ho Silver being strong lyrical tracks addressing the Human Condition, Hypocrisy, and Herd Mentality. She Runs With The Moon takes you on a journey, not sure what type, but I'm guessing it's a really hairy girl running. ROOT and HOT CHICKEN are Oldies But Goldies that remain to me the Essence of what Wuden Boi is, they are the most 'Normal' tracks here yet feel alien and fantastical.
Beyond the main tracks you get a series of cover songs, these are fine as extras but I don't feel needed to be here and could have remained as either a covers album or just as youtube videos to gain views. Although I will say the Wolly Bully cover is really well done, if you dont twist and shake, you're Broken.
All In all it is a solid album that takes you from soundscape to banger and back. The fact Scufflemoss was able to create such a unique world of sound that sucks you in without any help from his stage antics or space dwelling buddies (and enemies!) to amplify the experience goes to show there really is something here. I've heard so many bands that Copy N Paste eachother because it sells or gets chicks, but here is emotion and mind exposed. Mood Music if you will, by an old spirit with a refreshing sense of humour.
Give it a try. Form your own opinion. That is what Scufflemoss Treemen would want you to do!"

"Something to know before listening to any musical project involving Scufflemoss, you first need to KNOW who Scufflemoss is. You need to realize that this is not just another band making an album, but that it is a FOREST TROLL! A forest troll who has a lot of personality and depth to his character. To know Scufflemoss and who he is before diving into the album, will help you appreciate this so much more."
The Summoning - Anq'Coraj Rising:
This is such a great intro track, it has such a cool buildup, with this urgent type of feeling, a feeling that something is coming and you should be prepared for it!
The beginning of the song sounds like something from a Disney movie
Jeezus Peezuz:
This song is mega catchy and has a great flow. when I first heard it, the chorus got stuck in my head for days. I would constantly catch myself singing "Jeezus Peezuz How can you not see this?". I also really like the electronic synths used on this, sounds especially great with headphones.
Snowflakes Still Fall:
This is a very good lyric-focused song, which I am assuming is referencing SJWs and the crybaby bullshit that they are always pulling. Its a very nice poetic jab at people like that. I dig it.
She Runs with the Moon:
I really like this song, especially musically. I really love the intro, its such a cool sound. This song definitely gives me some stoner doom type of vibes, and I love that genre. Rodney's vocals are very well done, but his vocal style is definitely not my taste. Overall good jam though, a perfect song so slowly headbang to
The Summoning - Aura Dread
I fucking LOVE this one. It sounds like it should be a theme song for an evil creature for like a video game. And i really like the industrial type of sounds used too.
Hot Chicken (Refried):
This is the most evil sounding song about chicken Ive ever heard hahahaha. I love this one because it is in true Scufflemoss fashion, singing about bun. Love the music, love the content, and I think the xylophone really gives this song some extra flare.
Root (Regrowth)
This was I think the first Wuden song I ever heard. I love that this gives some backstory on the Root, warning you of the true dangers of that thing. Musically this great, Super heavy, super evil sounding. I really like when the music picks up.
The Summoning - Moon Moss
This one sounds like it should be like background music for a video game, I like the synths used on this one and the main melody is really good., Around the 2:15 mark when the music gets faster it sounds a little messy, I feel like its slightly out of time. Maybe thats just because theres a lot going on?
Bee Bop (Hip Hip for Bees)
This is one of my favorites. I listen to it a lot because it sounds so silly and makes me laugh a lot. I love the synths on this one. This is a super fun song, definitely need more bee music.
Hi Ho Silver
This is another one of my favorites. It has great energy and flow. The chorus is great and unforgettable, but the cadence of Scufflemoss's voice is great throughout the entire song. Good lyrics too, it is so hard to trust anything that the government says, you can never fucking tell when they are lying or telling the truth. But yeah such an awesome song, I can see myself going back to this one a lot.
Tundra Walking
I think this is a good ending track for the album (considering that everything after it are bonus tracks) I think its a good ending to a pretty solid album!
Wear A Mask (Bonus)
This was a great parody of Monster Mash. I really enjoyed the way the lyrics are written to fit into the tune of Monster Mash. Man, when Covid first hit, that was such a wild time. I can't believe how much of an impact its had on the world.
Wooly Bully (Bonus)
I honestly forgot this song existed until I heard this cover. Its such a fun beachy kinda song!
Are You Lonesome Tonight (Bonus)
I dont think ive ever heard the original version of this song. If I did I dont remember it. While I am not really a fan of slow songs like this, I think Scufflemoss's vocals are excellent on this cover. Very beautifully done and the more i listen to this, the more it grows on me.
All I Want For Christmas Is You (Bonus)
Ahhhh yes, the eternal earwig. I actually really love this song even if its insanely overplayed during christmas time. Something that took me by surprise is those high notes Scufflemoss did in the beginning of the song. Im so used to the regular Scufflemoss voice so it was really cool to hear him do those high notes!! Overall, great cover.
Three Little Birds (Bonus)
This is a very nostalgic song for me, my dad used to listen to Bob Marley a lot when I was a kid, I always enjoyed it when he'd put it on. It's really cool to see Scufflemoss do a cover of this, its such a nice happy song!
